Courtyard

The Courtyard is an exterior program space for distinctive outdoor events. This 2,112 sq ft outdoor space can be furnished with seating for 100. It also functions as an arrival point for events in adjacent Oak Hall, the Gathering Place, the Sanctuary, and other ULC facilities.

Located at the intersection of NE 50th Street and 16th Avenue NE, the Courtyard is well-suited for receptions or prefunction activities. Beautiful planting beds surround the paved Courtyard, which is fully accessible. Pole-mounted lighting provides generous illumination for evening events. An operable wall on the north side of the Courtyard can be opened wide, permitting activities in the Gathering Place and the Courtyard to flow together.

Rising high above the Courtyard, ULC’s iconic bell tower features 14 tuned bronze bells that can toll familiar melodies as well as new compositions.

The Courtyard Rental Rates

Courtyard $1,500 / 9 hours (Additional time $200 / hour)

Add-on for the Gathering Place Serving Kitchen: $200 / 9 hours (Additional time $50 / hour)
